Description

This is page two of my two-page pattern for a GIR plushie. For page one, click -> [link]
To see the finished plushie, visit my gallery.
Also, if you use this pattern, you must send me a picture of the completed doll. Also, if you could link back to the pattern, that would be great.

Instructions
1. trace and cut out 2 half-backs. Sew the slanted edges together. Towards the bottome (the wide part is the bottom), insert a thing, long piece of fabric into the seam, facing inwards. This will be the tail.
2. Trace and cut out 4 Arm/legs and 4 arm/leg bottoms. Sew the long side of the Arm/Leg to the bottom, and then sew the two short sides of the arm/leg together. This will make a tube with an opening. Stuff the arm/legs.
3. Trace and cut out front. Mark where you want the arms and legs to be on the front. Sew Straight, long edges of half-back to the curved edges of front. At the marks you placed, put and arm/leg into the seam, facing inwards. Then, when you turn the doll inside out, the arms and legs will face outwards. Do not sew up the top or bottom yet.
4. Trace and cut out 2 sides of head. Trace and cut out 1 additional leg/arm. This leg/arm will actually be the bottom of the head. Starting one inch away from the corner (the right angle corner) sew the long edge of the arm/leg to the bottom of the side of the head. Do this for both sides of head.
5. Trace and cut out 1 top/back of head. Sew the 2nd shortest side (the one opposite of the side that connects to the body) to the to the arm/leg closest to the curved part of the side of head. Then, you can sew the long edges to the side of head, all the way around the front part, top part, and down the back part. Do this for both sides. The top/back of head SHOULD NOT connect with the bottom (AKA arm/leg) part.
6. Sew the head to the body. This is the trickiest part. Sew the arm/leg part to the front of the body, sewing it so that the rest of the head will line up with the top whole of the body.
7. Sew ears and eyes on. (You can paint eyes on, if you would rather do that)
8. Stuff the doll, using that hole at the bottom. After it is stuffed, sew up the bottom.
9. Paint on the zipper and the stitches that run down the center of his head/body.

If you are confused by the instructions, don't hesitate to ask. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope you have fun making your GIR doll!
